These Company Policies outline the principles and standards that guide Eight Tones Music School Pte. Ltd. (“Eight Tones”) in our publishing practices, educational content, product information, customer service and operational decisions. 1. Publishing Principles

Eight Tones publishes a variety of content including product descriptions, educational articles, instructional material, reviews and community updates. Our publishing standards are guided by the following principles:
  • Accuracy and Integrity: All content is prepared with care to ensure correctness, reliability and factual accuracy.
  • Respect for Traditional Chinese Music Culture: We remain mindful of the heritage, techniques and traditions behind Chinese music and strive to represent them responsibly.
  • Clarity and Transparency: Product information, educational content and service details are presented clearly to support informed decision making.
  • Responsible Creative Practice: We do not alter product photos in a way that misrepresents the actual instrument or item being showcased.
  • Client and Brand Respect: When producing collaborative content, we honour brand guidelines and artistic direction provided by partners and educators.
  • User Generated Content: Reviews or testimonials submitted by students and customers may appear on our platforms. They are published responsibly without altering their intended meaning.

2. Ownership and Funding Information

Eight Tones Music School Pte. Ltd. is a privately owned Singapore company with no external investors. We are fully self supported through lesson fees, music education services, retail activities, studio operations and related business activities. We may engage in paid sponsorships, advertorial partnerships or affiliate arrangements when relevant. Sponsored content may appear on our platforms and will be labelled where required by local regulations or platform rules. Commercial partnerships do not influence the accuracy of our published information or educational materials. We do not receive government grants or public sector funding.

3. Actionable Feedback Policy

We welcome feedback from students, parents, customers, partners and members of the public. Feedback may be submitted to: Email: contact@eight-tones.com.sg All submissions are reviewed carefully. We aim to respond within one week. Feedback is used to improve our lesson experience, product information, service quality and operational processes. This feedback policy does not cover revision rounds for project based work, as our school does not operate through client based revision frameworks.

4. Corrections Policy

If factual errors or inaccuracies are identified in our published content, we will correct them within five working days. Content may be updated, replaced or removed where necessary. We do not issue separate correction notes unless required. This corrections policy applies to factual information and not to project based revisions, as such services are not part of our operational model.

5. Ethics Policy

Eight Tones is committed to ethical standards in education, retail communication and content publishing. We do not accept, publish or promote content involving:
  • Illegal activities
  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Explicit adult material
  • Violence or harmful behaviour
  • Political, extremist or propaganda material
  • Discriminatory statements regarding race, religion, gender, nationality or other protected characteristics
We maintain authenticity when presenting Chinese musical instruments, educational information and cultural content.
