The hulusi (chinese: 葫芦丝) is a free reed wind instrument from China and the Shan State. It is held vertically and has three bamboo pipes which pass through a gourd wind chest; the center pipe has finger holes and the outer two are typically drone pipes.
Join a wide variety of hu lu si lessons, ranging from individual lessons to group lessons. Our experienced teachers teach classical hulusi music as well as pop hulusi music. Students who wish to learn for leisure need not take grading exams. However if you would like to take hulusi grading exams we teach the Teng- NTU Confucius academy syllabus. From beginners to advanced players, we will surely have something for you.
