Meet Adela Tan, the Guzheng teacher. A fun and friendly teacher who always makes lessons engaging for her students, and aims to have enjoyable lessons for all her students. Adela has been interested in music ever since she was young, starting her journey with the Guzheng at just ten years old. When she was 10, she discovered her passion for Chinese music and culture and decided to pursue the learning and mastery of the Guzheng ever since. She continued her love for the instrument in joining the Nanyang Girls High School’s Guzheng Ensemble and began studying the instrument under Ms Lin Zhu Li. She proceeded to become the president of the ensemble, showcasing her drive and dedication towards the instrument, and helpfulness in assisting fellow schoolmates in perfecting the techniques required for the Guzheng.
