Hui Min is a music teacher who knows how to make learning a blast, creating a fun learning environment for all her students. Her lessons are also tailored to each student’s individual needs, making sure that everyone can make progress at their own pace.
Hui Min is also an encouraging teacher, always cheering her students on. But don’t let her friendly demeanour fool you, when it comes to teaching, she takes initiative to make sure that her students are learning to the best of their abilities. With Hui Min as your guide, you’re sure to have a great time while learning Guzheng and improving your skills!
Hui Min is a talented young musician with a passion for the Guzheng. Beginning her journey in music at the age of 8, Hui Min studied under the guidance of Mr Zhang Bo. Determined to make a career out of her love for music, she went on to study at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where she earned her Diploma in Music Teaching with a major in Guzheng under the tutelage of Ms Xu Hui, the Guzheng principal of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra.
During her time at NAFA, Hui Min not only excelled in her studies, but also took the opportunity to learn other instruments, including percussion under Mr Sheng Guo Qing and guitar under Mr Sebastian Ho. She also participated in Guzheng ensemble and orchestra performances, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience on stage.
Currently, Hui Min is further pursuing her passion for music as a student in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, NUS.
